Before Boarding

​We fully encourage all new customers come by and visit us here at The Hatch before making any potential bookings. A member of staff will guide you on a short tour of the grounds and facilities your companions will be staying in while answering any questions or concerns you may have. It's never easy leaving a furry family member behind for any reason, be it holiday or emergency but with over 20 years experience and daily customer recommendations, we pride ourselves on giving the best possible service to squash any fears you may have. You can also rest easy knowing 90% of the team here at The Hatch are family that live onsite all year round.

Vaccinations / Consent Form

All animals boarding with us require a one time consent form filled out, either sent to you via email or taken away after a show around / visit. Any further boarding visits may require form updating.

​We will need to see proof of vaccinations on drop off and WILL REFUSE animals on the spot if required vaccinations are either missing or out of date, these include:

DOGS: ​D.H.P & either Lepto 2 or 4 
CATS: Tri Cat Trio (FVRCP) & FeLV

We have never made Kennel Cough mandatory and leave this up to the discretion of pet owners. Remember KC vaccine is "Live" and therefore if you do get your animal vaccinated they are likely to be contagious, so we can ONLY accept animals vaccinated 2 weeks prior to commencing their stay with us!!!

Food

You must provide the right amount of food for the entirety of your pets stay both for the health and regularity of his or hers toileting, failure to do so WILL INCUR ADDITIONAL CHARGES and also risk upsetting your companions diet / stool, due to feed changes. You may individually pack and label anything you wish for use to note and is always appreciated by the staff if done so. We can accommodate any frozen or raw foods and also storage for any large food bags and we advise customers to add additional feeds in-case of changes to pickup dates.

You do not need to supply bowl unless necessary.

 

Bedding

Sufficient bedding is a must when boarding with us, even if this means a blanket or two. Our kennels are a foundation for customers to fill with their pets essentials when it comes to comforts at home, this includes toys, treats, beds, blankets, clothing and or mats. Do not heavily wash bedding as smells from home will help ease in new and old arrivals and make the whole experience more enjoyable for them.

Reframe from bringing items that will cause upset or emotion due to damage and we at The Hatch will hold no accountability if so during your pets stay.

Failure to bring sufficient bedding will most likely incur WASHING FEES if our own bedding is used.
